Let’s face it–one of the prime reasons you are having Monday blues is because you don’t have the career freedom. The job you are doing is not out of your own will. Given a choice, you would want to do something different or do the same thing in a different and better way.
We are what we wear! Experts opine that the clothes we wear affect our mood in more ways than one. If you are dressed well, it could make things go your way, cheer you up, motivate you, feel powerful, look professional or even focus better.
Find a job you love and you will not have to work a day in your life–old advice that we have been hearing.
But on the contrary, Steve Jobs said-
Yesterday we ran the NIO Vision Marathon – the 2km blindfolded buddy run. It was to create a world record and also to support the cause – No More Avoidable Blindness. It was an unparalleled experience no doubt, but it isn’t as easy as it sounds. Doing so requires you to be mentally alert, have the patience to listen, and more importantly the trust in your buddy.
On Saturday we had a PTM at our kiddo’s school. Parents complained that the teacher should slow down on the social science curriculum. To this, the teacher politely replied–Don’t just make your children to the homework.
When it rains, as we have often been hearing, the weather is awful. Well, the truth is–no weather is bad. And as said by Ruskin Bond, “There is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.”
Largely a lot of us think things that happen to us make us feel the way we do. So, with Monday blues, we assume they are because it is the first day of the week.
However, we need to remember –
The very first thing I learned, when computers were introduced to me way back in the Std. VII was algorithms. Every program we did we first had to have an algorithm–be it as simple as the addition of two numbers. It just made writing the programs so simple. And if ever the program went wrong, we could test the steps using the algorithm to arrive at the current output.
Are you one of those who keeps pondering: “What’s wrong with me? Why is it that despite all efforts to beat the Monday Blues, every other Monday is the same?”
