We must all suffer one of the two pains–the pain of discipline or the pain or regret.
I happened to hear this quote by Jim Rohn in one of the training programs I attended and it changed my life.
Look at successful people around–athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, and so on – everyone has become successful because of discipline.
You cannot achieve an effective level of ability without discipline. As a matter of fact, discipline is a consistent regimen that leads to freedom of action Click To Tweet You may call it focus, determination, hard work, or tenacity. But it all amounts to the same thing—a consistent commitment to do the things required to become effective.
How true was that?–I got thinking. And I also ended up making an amendment to Jim Rohn’s original quote–The choice is yours.
So, to beat the Monday blues today make a choice to suffer the pain of discipline over the pain of regret. Get going. Take action. Be disciplined!
