When it rains, as we have often been hearing, the weather is awful. Well, the truth is–no weather is bad. And as said by Ruskin Bond, “There is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.”
So to beat the Monday blues today, soak yourself in the rain. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our inner self.
Many people avoid the rain. And when you do, you are bound to be feeling lethargic, not wanting to do anything, and eventually feel low. Very true, but the bigger truth is, when you get out and soak in the rain it does the exact opposite.
Research from a 2004 University of Michigan study found that people who spent at least 30 minutes outside during periods of pleasant weather reported improved mood, memory, and openness to new information and creative thoughts. Soaking in the rain does exactly that!
So get out, get wet and soak yourself in an entirely novel experience and see the Monday blues fade away.
